· Installation bracket
· Nut bolt and flat washer if necessary
· EFI multi port fuel injection hose and fuel rail quick connect fittings.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

· Locate the fuel supply line connection to the fuel rail. This is usually found on top of the engine or on the side. They typically look like this. The supply line is usually the larger of the two.

· Disconnect battery.
· Remove plastic wrapping from Fitch.
· Find a suitable mounting location for the canister
Optional Locations - Along brake master cylinder on the drivers' side, along the firewall, driver's side frame rail, on side of shock tower or the wheel well.
· Install hoses and fittings into TOP and BOTTOM of Fitch unit according to the drawing and most suitable for your fuel lines; ensure that fittings are tight to prevent leaks. The 90-degree fitting will normally be used in the outlet side to prevent the fuel line from kinking.
· Center mounting bracket on Fitch unit.
· Mount the FFC unit to the vehicle securely.
· Make sure the flow arrow on Fitch unit is facing in the UPRIGHT POSITION.
· Now that the unit is in place, disconnect the supply fuel line using an appropriate disconnect tool. Typically the female connector is on the supply side from the tank and the male on the fuel rail.
· Reconnect the fuel line with the correct connector from the tank side to the male/female connector on the BOTTOM of the Fitch unit and then connect the fuel line from the TOP of Fitch unit back to the fuel-rail male/female connector making sure that fittings are securely snapped into place.
· Once you have double-checked all instructions and are satisfied with installation, you may reconnect the battery and turn the key to the "on" (not crank) position, wait 10 seconds, turn the key off and repeat this time leave the key on and check the installation for leaks. · Installation is now complete and you may restart the car.

IMPORTANT NOTES

All kits above are for use with fuel injected systems using either 5/16" line or 3/8" lines. Universal kits (for regular fuel line) are also available without ends (just Fitch unit 90 degree fittings and open hose to slip on to the existing lines). Have a look at our other kits at the link below.
After installation is complete, drive the vehicle over 50 miles per hour for a minimum of 20 minutes with at least 2 start and stop procedures. This procedure will reset the computers memory on EFI engines to sense the treated fuel. For diesel engines and all other gasoline engines, disconnecting the battery is good safe practice.
